OKTOBERFEST will be held Saturday, October 19th from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Please sign up in the back for a traditional German meal– Brats, German potato salad, German chocolate cake. We need a count and time is running out
A lot of work goes into the District Gathering’s. Please consider attending. If you attended or helped with the Gathering OLS Hosted you know you will not want to miss this opportunity. There are some great subjects and Speakers coming. It is hard and expensive to attend the National Conventions, these district level Gatherings help fill the gap.
The 1st Lantern House Chili Lunch is coming 10/25. Signup Sheets are out in the Narthex. This is a fun and fulfilling time to serve those less fortunate than us, or bring supplies you may also give a monetary gift by dropping it in the offering plate marked Lantern House Chili Lunch. Those dollars will go to Steve and Dawn for meat and other supplies.
HEALTH ALERT! Weber County Health Department stopped by this week to do a routine inspection. They failed us on the microwave. While our kitchen is open for everyone to use it is also everyone’s responsibility to clean up after yourself NOT THE CHURCH STAFF. We were also reminded to get our Food Handlers Licenses. We have a couple events coming soon — are you licensed? The test is simple, quick, cheap and good for 3 yrs.
